The Support Committee is committed to honoring our military veterans who are interred at the Alabama National Cemetery. Throughout the year, special commemorative ceremonies are held to recognize veterans from different eras, to remember their legacy and teach younger generations the price of freedom.
The Vietnam War Veterans Commemoration Ceremony is held in March at the Alabama National Cemetery.
On July 27, 2024, the first Korean War Armistice Day Wreath Laying and Taps Ceremony was held and each August
The End of WWII Wreath Laying and Taps Ceremony is held to remember and honor World War II's Greatest Generation. In the fall, a Commemoration of the War on Terror and Day of Service is held. You may scroll down on this page to view photos from some of these ceremonies.

The SC also creates special program content regarding the history and stories of veterans who are interred at the cemetery for school groups visiting the cemetery.
