Each year the Support Committee for the Alabama National Cemetery plans and coordinates the ceremony to lay live balsam wreaths on each and every grave. With fundraising support from the Blue Star Salute Foundation, military services organizations, companies, retiree groups, and other charitable organizations; and logistics support from the Civil Air Patrol, Wreaths Across America (WAA) has become the largest event of the year at ALNC.The Wreaths Across America Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday December 17, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Alabama National Cemetery. Information on how you can volunteer will be posted on our blog and Facebook page. ALNC continues to grow at a fast pace, therefore, our need for wreaths grows as well, so please consider sponsoring a wreath.
